Kachna for Everyone: Rules česky 

• All FIT students (or those enrolled in a FIT course) can access the club using their card.
  By entering the club, you agree to the rules stated on this page and declare that you will abide by them.
  The door and bar area are monitored by a camera system.
• Opening hours (trial run during the exam period): Monday–Sunday, 8 AM–9 PM. Closed 10–12 Jan and 31 Jan.
  Please strictly follow this schedule and leave the club premises after 9 PM.
  Check Kachna Online beforehand to see if a private event is planned.
• Before entering and after leaving, tap your card on the reader next to the main door.
  If multiple people are entering or exiting, please make sure that each of you taps their card.
• It is strictly forbidden to enter the bar area and manipulate anything there.
  Exceptions:
• You can use the sink, towels, microwave, filtered water faucet, and kettle.
• You can use glasses exclusively from the first shelf (“chillzone glass”) and mugs (the cabinet labeled “Hrnky”), provided you wash them and return them to the shelf.
• You can use kitchen utensils (top drawer to the right of the sink), provided you wash them afterward.
• Currently, it is not possible to purchase anything from the club's offering unless an SU member is present.
• The only accessible space is the main club room (R212) and the adjacent toilet.
  It is forbidden to enter the other rooms of the club (e.g. the SU technical backroom).
• Return things to their original state (including furniture). Do not take anything from the club.
• Do not plug high-power devices or personal kitchen appliances into electrical outlets.
• If you are the last to leave, turn off all lights (switches are to the left of the bar, near the bins).
• While in the club, follow the instructions of SU members, especially its leadership.

You are responsible for your behaviour in the club and for any damage to the property of BUT, SU FIT, or other individuals in accordance with applicable legal regulations and the club's operating rules that you can find on the notice board in the club.

Let's be considerate of each other. The club is maintained by your colleagues in their free time, so try to make it as easy for them as possible.

Access is typically only possible through the main entrance to the club. If you have limited mobility, we can arrange lift access after individual consultation.

Project Information

History:
The Students' Club U Kachničky was first opened at the beginning of 2016. Back then, it was open one evening a week in P108. In the second half of 2017, the club moved to its current premises. Once a week, it was open to everyone; the rest of the time, it served as a base for the Student's Union members. In 2019, we added a second weekly opening, but even then, we questioned whether it was appropriate that the faculty provided a room to students while we only allowed access to selected individuals. In 2020, the “chillzone” mode was introduced, allowing SU members to open the club to everyone if they had time. However, such sporadic openings were unreliable, so we decided to take it to the next level.

Goals:
The Kachna for Everyone project aims to provide the club and its equipment to all students most of the day. As before, we will host two weekly openings with a bar and one tea room during the semester. Various events, tournaments, lectures, and activities you are used to will continue. Outside of these, every student from BUT who is studying or taking a subject at FIT will be able to access the club. You can work on projects, study, or just chill there.

Future Plans:
The trial run starts during the exam period. During the semester, we will likely close one day a week for cleaning or planning bigger events. We also reserve the right to close the club at any time for the Union's internal purposes. We are also planning to offer some types of refreshments (exclusively with cashless payment). In the future, we hope to allow use of our kitchen equipment to create a proper student kitchen.
